Samael Aun Weor. Excerpt from the conference: The Superior Faculties of Man.

Answer from the Magazine "The Wisdom of the Being".

The horse, being one of the animals that, due to its characteristics and strength, has accompanied man for thousands of years, became the representation of the qualities of consciousness in the human being, such as daring and courage...

The essence or consciousness is manifested in the human being normally only in 3%, it is that unique purity that captivates us in babies, because it has not yet been stained with the small manifestations of our psychological defects. People think that the essence continues to grow or evolve mechanically, if at all with age, but this is not the case.

And it is not like that because the remaining 97% of our consciousness is bottled up in the psychological self, and if we want to make it grow, we must do it through conscious work and voluntary suffering.

Precisely, the other characteristics of the horse: wild and passionate make it at the same time the representation of the opposite of those virtues, that is, the living representation of our psychological defects, to thus fulfill the two opposites of philosophy, in in this case, the white horse representing purity and the black horse representing vice, the sin within themselves.
