Why does attachment to the gunas affect us?

Answer from the V.M. Samael Aun Weor and the magazine.

Whoever does not eliminate the SATTVA GUNA gets lost in the labyrinth of THEORIES and abandons ESOTERIC WORK.

Whoever does not eliminate the STRANDS strengthens the LUNAR EGO through ANGER, GREED, and LUST.

We must not forget that STRANDS are the very ROOT of animal desire and the most violent passions.

STRANDS are the ROOT of all concupiscence. The latter, in itself, is the origin of all desire.

Whoever wants to eliminate DESIRE must first eliminate the STRANDS GUNA.

Whoever does not eliminate Tamas will always have a dormant consciousness, will be lazy, will abandon esoteric work due to inertia, sloth, lack of will, lukewarmness, and lack of spiritual enthusiasm. They will fall victim to the foolish illusions of this world and succumb to ignorance.

It is said that after death, people of a Sattvic temperament go on vacation to the molecular and electronic paradises or realms where they enjoy infinite bliss before returning to a new womb.

Samael Aun Weor. Excerpt from the book: Esoteric Treatise on Hermetic Astrology.

Answer from the magazine "The The wisdom of the Being.".

Answer in the magazine The Wisdom of Being: Attachment to the gunas influences the law of return, causing births in good or bad environments. It is explained that if, upon death, Sattva prevails because this temperament was developed in life, then one enters the sphere of devotees, the molecular paradises or realms where one enjoys infinite bliss. If the Raya temperament predominates, the individual is born among action-oriented people, immediately reintegrates into society, or remains on the threshold awaiting a new womb, without experiencing the bliss of a nirvana vacation; and if their temperament is Tamasic, then they are born among unreasoning beings, entering the infernal worlds, located by Dante Alighieri beneath the Earth's crust, in the lower realms of consciousness.
