Day 15. Cuauhtli (Eagle)

Cuauhtli

All cultures study in depth the Christic principle that among the Mexican is known as Quetzalcoatl and is symbolized by the Eagle.  Christ is the fraternal love we must manifest for Humanity and as consequence, the work, without any interest for others; serving others, or the Apostolate.  It is the love adequately demonstrated with clear, concrete and definitive actions.
Love is not demonstrated with just poems, sweet words or good intentions, but with all actions that demonstrate true love.  The eagle, symbolizing the Second Logos, or Love, shows us the path to follow.  When we give we receive and he who gives most, receives the most. If we look for wisdom, we must in turn help those who know the least and illuminate the path for others to follow.

Regent God:   It is related to the Sun and Liberty, it is the day of protection to all warriors.  It is ruled by Tlatlauhqui Tezcatlipoca – identical to Xipe Totem – God of Earth, vegetation and Spring.

The Location of the Day in the Borgia Codex:      On his ears, to remind us of the necessity to listen to our Spirit before listening to our egotistical and personal will.

“D. The Condor, Venerable Master?  M. The Condor, or Eagle, is a symbol of the Second Logos.  D.  of the Christ?  M.  of CHRISTUS, or of the Hindustani Vishnu…”
