Answers from the books of Samael Aun Weor

Answer from the book: “The Birth of Left-Handed Hummingbird”

We should not be amazed if the birth date of Left-handed Hummingbird (Huizilopochtli) is similar to some others great Beings; according to the Mexica cronology he is born the last day of the fifteenth month of the Nahuatl calendar which is the “Flag Rising” [pānquetzaliztli] that corresponds to December 19th of our calendar.

The coincidence to these dates is astonishing, and it’s because the Christ (may he be Jesus, Mithra, Freyr or Huitzilopochtli) has always been associated to the Sun. We should remember that the Left-handed Hummingbird is the God of the Sun and that the primitive Christians used to say with much solemnity “Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Sun”.

It happens that the ancient wisemen, intelligently associated the the spiritual birth to the cosmic event of the winter Solstice, precisely in that date the sun stops in its apparent movement to the South, and begins its path to the North, in other words, the Sun is born.

The word Solstice means: Sol=Sun, stice=stop, halt; it means that the Sun Christ is born in the Winter Solstice , to give life to everything that is, has been or will be. This fact, in an esoteric and gnostic meaning corresponds to the Venust Initiation (from Venus, the planet of love), when the inner Christ is born in the human heart, prowess achievable only for the noble souls, previous sacrifice for the humanity and having achieved a very high spiritual development.

Answers from Master Samael Aun Weor.

“For the Saviour to be born, the phenomenon of Bethlehem must be repeated. The aforementioned event is both very profound and symbolic. That small village of Bethlehem of which the gospels speak, is some thing very allegorical. It is said that that tiny hamlet did not exist in the time of Jesus of Nazareth. If we analyse the word “Belen” [Spanish for Bethlehem] we have Bel-En, and we see that “Bel” in Chaldean terminology means “Tower of Fire”. When does one attain the “Tower of Fire”? When the superior existential Bodies of the Being have been created, when the Sacred Fire has reached the upper part of the brain; this is when the phenomenon of Bethlehem occurs.”
